Building Signage

Please only use signage produced by Facilities Management or the Office of University Communications and Marketing, which has been approved by Pitt's Healthcare Advisory Group

University Facilities Signage

Required Signage

Facilities Management has installed or will be installing required building signage in all University building entrances and exits, main corridors, classroom and seating areas, elevators, stairwells, bathrooms, water fountains, common areas, campus shuttles and retail stores. This includes capacity, personal protective equipment (PPE) and code-required Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) signage. Pitt offices within leased facilities should work with the lease management company on appropriate signage. If you need additional building signage, please submit a Facilities Management Work Request. 

Healthy Work Practices Signage

University Communications and Marketing has developed posters, banners, digital screens and floor decals to visibly reinforce healthy work practices within assigned space. Messaging includes physical distancing, proper wearing of face coverings, hand washing, cleaning, appropriate behaviors when not feeling well, personal items within a workspace, and free-standing machines and cubicles not in use. 

Posters

Posters are available in two sizes and two colors. The 8.5 by 11” white posters are printer friendly and use minimal ink. For printing posters with blue backgrounds in all sizes or for printing large quantities of any of the posters, we recommend that you submit a marketing project request form.

Banners

Approved vinyl banners should be ordered through University Marketing. Please submit a marketing project request form. 

Floor Decals

These waterproof adhesive decals, which feature messaging and/or panther paws, may be used to reinforce physical distancing within your work area. They should be ordered through University Marketing. Please submit a marketing project request form. 

Digital Screens

Download and use these screens, which feature messages that reinforce healthy behaviors.
